What is the difference between Shuichuan and Meditation?

These both move in the same direction except that from the point of view of Meditation, Zi Ran Qigong appears to be back-to-front.  In Shuichuan, the first action of Chu Xing or Awakening results in what is called "Enlightenment".  In Zi Ran Qigong, the Awakened Yuan Qi or Original Energy is gradually drawn towards the coarser levels within each person and caringly adjusted until the enlightened state is reached permanently, but with understanding.

Chu Xing is like a candle moving into a dark room.  When the candle arrives, the darkness automatically disappears - you do not have to move the darkness in order to achieve the light.  In Shuichuan you make the connection first.  Having made it, everything else is adjusted quite automatically simply by doing the Exercise regularly.  Through practising Shuichuan you are moved towards health and balance and your mind naturally becomes quiet.

Whereas Shuichuan originates from beyond the mind, Meditation uses the mind to potentially attain "Enlightenment".  This usually takes a much longer time, if it is achieved at all.  In some cases, if you continue to Meditate after you begin Shuichuan, your mind can be mislead into believing that it can again "drive the car".  Conflict can then arise within you due to the fact that you now know both outwardly and inwardly that the mind is not the real you ... it is simply a complex computer.  The mind needs to be excluded.
